Jennie Weber
Biography
Jennie is one of the personal trainers for 24/7 Fitness. She and her husband, John have been married for 20 years and have 3 teenage sons- Jason (18yr), James (16yr), and Jacob (14yr). As a family, they’ve been in Platteville since 1992. During their summers, most of their days are spent at beautiful Lake Lucerne in Crandon, WI, where they enjoy a myriad of water sports including competitive barefoot water-skiing (James & Jacob) and participation in the Crandon Water Shows. Although she spends a lot of time training others (and herself) at 24/7, her actual full-time job is as a school counselor at St. Columbkille Elementary in Dubuque, IA.
Fitness and good health became a force in her life after realizing she had neglected her health by gaining body fat, decreasing strength, and increasing her susceptibility to illnesses. After one year of working out on her own, she found a personal trainer- Jim Romagna of Dubuque, IA-who helped her break through a plateau and reach for new goals- including competitive bodybuilding and the adaptation of good health that now permeates her lifestyle.
After recognizing how Jim and his family (Jennifer, Jade, AJ, and Ava) changed her life by teaching her not only about good health but a positive attitude and acceptance of herself, she felt a natural drive to “give back.” She sought her own personal trainer certification as a way of honoring what they had done for her by in-turn becoming dedicated to helping others reach their goals and see their own self-worth – inside and out.
Mission Statement
As a personal trainer, my mission is to provide clients with the knowledge, attention, encouragement, and support to help them reach their health, nutrition, and fitness goals.
